Hello my readers,

Just wanted to share this exciting news. Yesterday morning a man called and wanted a house cleaning service quote for his 3BR, 2BA house. We set up the time in the afternoon for me to see the house. I gave him a quote and he accepted it. He wants me to start the housekeeping service monthly and wants me to start tomorrow. Yes!!!!!

A friend told me about a great spot remover. I asked her what it was and where to get it. She told me that she makes it at home with a few common household ingredients. If she ever moves to San Diego I should hire her for housekeeping service. ha! I gave it a try and it works wonders. I still haven’t had the chance to use it on an old stain. If any one tries it an an old stain please let me know the outcome. Here is what she told me to do.

First, mix equal parts the following ingredients in a small bowl:
* Hydrogen peroxide
* Rubbing alcohol
* Vinegar

Second, shake the mixture well. Locate your stain and pour a small amount onto it.

Third, let your mixture sit on the stain for about 5 minutes. DO NOT let the mixture sit too long on the spot or the peroxide could damage the stained area.

Next, you dab the area with a clean washcloth.

Lastly, wIth a clean side of the wash cloth you should be able to rub the rest of the stain away.

Warning: Use caution when handling these chemicals. Do not let the mixture make contact with your eyes. If your mixture makes contact the eyes, it may cause blindness. If contact with mouth or eye occurs, immediately rinse the area for 5 to 7 minutes. If irritation is persistent, you should consult with doctor or poison control center.

I forgot to write an update yesterday. I was so tired. Well, anyway, I wanted to share an experience. After completing a house cleaning for a first time client yesterday, she liked the quality of my work so much that she wants me to come back again to do regular house cleaning service for her. She and I came to an agreement. I will be providing bi monthly housekeeping for her home in San Diego. I’m really excited. She appreciates the way her beautiful house turned out. It was immaculate.

Hello everyone,

Like I said I will let you all know what happens. This morning I gave a home owner an estimate for house cleaning service. I don’t know if the lady of the house will use my house keeping service because we could not reach an agreement. The man of the house was helping his wife make a decision. When I walked out of their home, I said to myself, “Oh well, maybe next one.”

After I left their house, not a minute to soon, I received a phone call. It was a lady that was wanting to set up an appt for me to give her an estimate on house cleaning service. Well, I went to see her @ 1pm the same day. We looked around, we sat down and we discussed the terms. Her house is beautiful. I was there for at least a good hour. She and I had fun talking. We talked about a lot of stuff. In the end, she said that she really like me and she will talk to her husband. She also said she will call me back as soon as she can about me and my service.

Well, by 5pm, she called me back and she wants me to start the housekeeping service tomorrow @ 9am. Yippee!!!! I’m so excited and so looking forward to working with her.

Today is my rest day. Last Thursday, Melissa and I went to a client’s house and cleaned the entire house (Thanks Missy. I always appreciate your help). By the way, Melissa is my wonderful assistant. Melissa works so hard.

Later on that afternoon, I bid on a house cleaning service job that was coastal San Diego. This client needed a 1-time housekeeping and had a request for a deep cleaning of the entire house. He wanted me to start on the same day. In which I did. I was unable to finish because he had to leave by 6pm. I offered to come back the next morning (8am) to finish. He agreed. So I came back the next day, Friday am and finished the rest of the house keeping service. He was very pleased. I was excited to help him. Later on that same day, I went to my 4pm cleaning service appt. and I was done by 6pm.

Ever since I was given this great present by my kids and Melissa, I have browsed and read the plentiful information this website offers, and trying to maneuver around. I’m still not used to having our own website, and I know that it will take us a while to learn. I’m overwhelmed. It’s a good thing and, an exhilarating feeling.

As you can see, I had a very busy past few days and need a rest.

Happy Mother’s Day everyone!

Today, my kids and Melissa bought me a website for our  cleaning service / housekeeper service here in San Diego. I’m excited and scared all at the same time. I’m excited because a website will open our business up to a broader span of customers. I’m scared because what if this internet presence in San Diego brings us too many house cleaning clients that we can’t handle. I tend to be overly cautious and I am sure this will be a good thing.
